One school grades K-2, one elementary school grades 3-6, one junior-senior high school grades 7-12, elementary pupil teacher ratio is 13-1; conventional or ungraded classes at elementary level; full-time art, music, reading, and physical education programs in all schools; full-time special needs coordinator and psychologist; accelerated programs for grades K-12. Vocational students attend Nashoba Regional Technical High School in bordering Westford.

Basic shopping in the center of town, plus easily accessible malls in several nearby towns.

TRANSPORTATION
MBTA commuter rail service to Boston, frequent bus service to Worcester and Boston from Littleton Common.

DISTANCES
Littleton is situated 30 miles NW of Boston, and 15 miles SW of Lowell. Driving time to Boston is 45 minutes approximately. The town's ideal geographical location makes it excellent for industry. Route 2 connects the town conveniently to Boston and Route 495 passes through the town making access to other points within easy reach.

RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
Along with natural outdoor recreation areas for hiking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing, Littleton has several tennis courts, four baseball diamonds, and supervised swimming and instruction at the public beach. The Town also has a number of social and service organizations.
